Comparison

My dad’s a little bald up there,

Just like my baby brother.

Each time the baby grows a hair,

My dad loses another.

Although I guess that’s not quite fair,

‘Cause dad has hair that grows.

It’s really just too bad that where,

Is in his ears and nose.

My baby brother likes to yell,

And sometimes dad will curse.

While baby’s diapers sometimes smell,

My father’s shoes stink worse.

And neither one can go to school,

Or put their clothes on straight.

And when they sleep, both of them drool.

Both are putting on weight.

They both feed at 2 in the morning,

Both will sleep any place.

Both burp loudly without warning,

And then make a silly face.

On and on I could compare,

But here’s one more to start,

Despite their scant amount of hair,

I love them both, with all my heart.
